PET FRIENDLY WITH STIPULATIONS*** 
We welcome well trained dogs to stay in this home. We require that your dog be completely potty trained and prefer dogs older than 2 years old. Crate Trained pups are preferred to deter mischievous behavior while you and your party are enjoying the beach. It is understood that while we do allow dogs with the mentioned stipulations any damages that occur during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file with the minimum fee being $350.00.

 

About Prominence on 30A - Watersound, Florida
Prominence is one of the most popular communities on 30A and features incredible amenities, open green spaces and easy access to over 17 miles of bike paths. Prominence is perfectly located to new and long time 30A haunts as well as the beautiful white beaches of Scenic 30A. Guests will enjoy a beautiful town center and 2 resort style pools.

Located at the town center, the Big Chill is a hot-spot for entertainment and features an outdoor 25 ft LED theater screen for sporting events and movie nights on the green. Concerts, family activities, restaurants, and boutique shops are just some of the things to do within a less than 5 minute walk. 

Prominence is centrally located on 30A between Seagrove and Seaside to the west and Alys and Rosemary Beach to the east.

Beach Accesses for ALL Prominence homes are via South Walton public beach access points. Most Prominence guests utilize Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public beach accesses. Prominence homes do not have direct beach access via Watersound Club nor do they have access to Watersound private club facilities.

 

INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Absolutely wonderful unit in a beautifully maintained, well-located planned community along 30A. Master shower is huge with double shower heads, kitchen extremely spacious and well-appointed with top notch appliances, and the 6-seater golf cart and bikes were such a nice bonus. We took advantage of all the amenities while we were there.

The place was in the perfect location. Our family loved being able to use the golf cart or bikes to go anywhere we wanted. Having the Big Chill right across the street was so convenient. We were close to the pool as well. It was also nice being about a 15min golf cart ride to seaside and then a 20min or so bike ride to Rosemary beach. The home was clean and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed to get started. All we had to do was run to the local Publix to grab some groceries and we were set. It also came with a pack n play which was perfect to set up for our 2yr old in the primary walk in closet. Couldn’t have asked for a better place or location. Our family can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful place to stay. The golf cart was so useful as well as the bikes. The place was very clean and had a well-stocked kitchen for items needed to make a meal. Close to the beach, easy to get to the Big Chill, pool, and very family friendly.

This place was very clean and close to many things to do at the hub. Make sure you get access to the golf cart for a quick trip to the beach or to just cruise down 30a. Would certainly stay here again.

Overall great place. Space and location are hard to beat. Clean, updated aesthetics, balcony view, awesome large main shower (with 2 shower heads!), has a washer and dryer (great for long stays) and with the added golf cart a plus (worked great btw). It’s right off 30a across the popular The Hub.
A few recommendations for visitors:
- if you have more than one car you need to park one at the pool
- The Hub is nice but pricey (good hangout spot but better food at better prices a short drive either direction)
- take the golf cart for a ride! Such a fun time and a great way to get to public beach access points
- a few spots to check out (but not limited to):
The Perfect Pig, Charlie’s Cafe (the donut truck sells out too quickly), Amavida coffee, Beachy Bean Cafe, Amici, Cocina Cubana
Also during busy season make sure to have reservations - one night we tried walk in and nearly every place was packed or closed early

Beautiful Property, Great Location
This property is very well kept and great for pets. It is located across the street from The Hub which was very convenient. The golf cart was a nice perk and great to take to the beach. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect Quiet Location
This has been by far one of our best beach vacation experiences. We enjoyed everything the home had to offer. Our two Boston terriers enjoyed the balcony and sunlight through the windows. The golf cart was also a real treat. We hope to come back again!

Beach trip 2019
The property was great. The golf cart was not working, but we were offered reimbursing or a rental for not having it. Central location, though a jaunt to the gulf. We found Inlet Beach the easiest access. The unit has great amenities. Very clean.

Excellent Stay! Highly Recommended
This place is exactly as shown. The area is beautiful, close to the HUB, has great grounds. The townhouse is perfectly appointed and immaculate. Perfect for a family getaway! We waked daily to the HUB for some quick bites and to enjoy nightly music and even catch the games on their outdoor screen. I’d recommend this spot to anyone looking for a really nice stay along 30A.

We loved staying at Pipers Place! We loved the community and the room was gorgeous ! The only negative we had about our stay was the distance to the beach but having the golf cart helped make up for it :)
