Our story

What began in 1992 with just a few properties in Sandestin quickly grew into one of Florida’s most trusted vacation rental companies. Founder Ann Shank, a property owner herself, saw firsthand the challenges other owners faced in managing and booking their homes. Combining her owner’s insight with strong business sense and a passion for hospitality, she began helping others succeed, one personal connection at a time.

Word spread, and before long, Panhandle Getaways expanded across the coast, built on the values that still guide us today: authentic care, local expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
