INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Very pretty neighborhood and beautiful home. Even though homes in the neighborhood are very close together the wooded landscape makes it feel more secluded. Home matched photos and was extremely clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Home is directly across from the pool. The included street legal 6 seater golf cart and 4 bikes were well utilized. We enjoyed golf cart rides to Seaside and Rosemary. We rode bikes on the Timpoochee Trail including to The Big Chill which has several casual dining options. The deeded beach access is directly across from the neighborhood however you cannot use this area of beach unless you use the beach chair service at an extra cost. You must walk down the beach a few hundred yards to a public area which was very crowded during our week. There is limited golf cart parking at the front of the neighborhood which is a big help in transporting beach gear. Overall we enjoyed our week at the Connecticut Yankee!

Family Vacation 2024
This property was perfect for our family vacation. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us. The 3 1/2 baths were very helpful and the living/dining/kitchen area was perfect for cooking and hanging out at night. The property is not right on the beach, but having the golf cart to shuttle pack and forth made it an easy process. The property was very clean and loved everything about it. The only thing that would have helped was to have a 2nd trash receptacle outside. With 8 of us, 6 being college aged kids, we had a lot of trash and missed the pickup during the holiday. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Perfect Accommodations!
I'm a neat freak and this place was clean. My wife, two grown daughters and son-in-law had a great time and plenty of space and privacy when needed. This house is right across the street from the pool, literally a one-minute walk and no noticeable noise or concern. Beach is a hike, you need to rent bikes or golf cart as there is no parking to speak of if you drive. Kitchen is well equipped with all appliances, pots, pans, glasses, coffee cups etc. My only suggestion for amateur chefs like me, if you are going to cook is to bring a good knife or two.

Wonderful lodging and location
Beautiful property. Steps from swimming pool and a short walk to the beach. Loved the quiet location off busy 30A. All furniture was comfortable and perfect for beach lodging. Beautiful and spacious kitchen. Beach towels or chairs would have been nice but certainly not a deal breaker. Loved our stay.
