ABOUT BLUE MOUNTAIN BEACH on 30A: This area of Scenic 30A draws its name from the blue lupine flowers that sway in the coastal breeze. The "mountain" part of the name comes from fact that the area is home to the Gulf of Mexico’s highest elevation (a whopping 64 feet). The natural beauty surrounds you with relaxation but there are still some exceptionally good restaurants and even a local ice cream parlor in the area. Bike rides are the norm for this slower paced portion of 30A, and visitors who stay here return year after year to enjoy its charm.

PET FRIENDLY WITH STIPULATIONS

We welcome well trained dogs to stay in this home. We require that your dog be completely potty trained and prefer dogs older than 2 years old. Crate Trained pups are preferred to deter mischievous behavior while you and your party are enjoying the beach. It is understood that while we do allow dogs with the mentioned stipulations any damages that occur during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file with the minimum fee being $350.00. ADDITIONAL PET FEE APPLIES & IS COLLECTED AFTER BOOKING IS MADE.

INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL

Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the beach.

Great house and great location. The house was well stocked with plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen supplies. Was super helpful to have plenty of towels after days at the beach. We brought our dog and he loved it and had a nice size yard to roam around.
For a house that allows pets it had no smell to it at all and no sign of damage from past pets.
We also had children. (2 toddlers and 1 infant) there was plenty of room for them to run around and play. Only thing was the house does not have infant supplies that other houses sometimes have but we were able to bring our own.
Was a great house at a great price in a great area. Would definitely stay again.
The toddler cried when we were leaving saying she didn’t want to leave “the blue house”

Great place to stay in Blue Mountain. Close to everything. Space was amazing with 3 beds and 2 baths. TVs in every room with remote controlled fans made the stay feel great. Would definitely revisit.

Very good location.

About 3 blocks from the beach and restaurants and easily walkable/bike-able even though it sits on a medium sized hill. The front and backyards are quite large. The house is nice, clean, and fresh.
