Location was a short walk to the beach. Amenities, discounts on services accompanying the booking is a plus. The unit was clean, full-size clothes washer/dryer, and plentiful hot water. A/C unit cooled the lower level best, struggled to cool the upper level. Assigned parking and no safety/security issues during our stay. Overall, definitely would recommend and stay this location again!

We enjoyed our stay at the townhouse - Woodland Shores #38. The home was exactly as described on VRBO. There are two parking spaces for the home, which was nice because we were able to have a parking spot for the gas golf cart that we rented. The location was great, it is a couple of blocks away from the public beach. Two bikes and a lock were provided in the shed outside. The home is not in view of the pool, but it is only a short walk there. It is nice that there are bathrooms at the pool. My only wish was that there would have been chairs to sit on the upstairs balcony and that the furniture on the back porch was a little more than just a plastic table and chairs. We enjoyed dining at Pompano Joes, it was an hour and a half wait for a table and a bit pricy, but well worth it! All in all....great place, great location, great vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at your property. Everything in the house was pretty much just as it looks in the pictures. Very comfy beds! Plenty of room in the townhouse to spread out. Walk to beach was a bit further than we expected, but probably was good for us to get that walk in each day. Not sure I’d want to make that walk with little ones - might want to rent a golf cart. Also I asked if there was any beach chairs/equipment and was told no. We brought our own chairs/umbrellas, but discovered there actually were chairs and some other beach toys in the closet under the stairs. Not sure what all there was as we had our own. Overall loved our stay in this house!

The property is in a quiet location about 2 blocks from the beach. It has a lot of space compared to a typical 2 BR rental. There are two full baths associated with the upstairs bedrooms and a half bath off of the downstairs living room-kitchen area. The tubs and shower would benefit from grab bars for safety. Otherwise, everything is in good working order..

it was close enough to walk a little ways to the beach. not as close as i thought it was, but close enough. the pool wasnt close to our property like the pictures. everything else was great!

Loved the place! But we were suppose to check in at 4 and didn’t till 6 due to short staff for cleaning. I understand but when we arrived i could see they rushed and didn’t completely clean it right. Was still fun tho!

Very nice and comfortable accommodations that make a perfect home away from home. Great location within walking distance to the beach or a very short drive to public beach access parking lot if you have a lot of beach gear. Location is also close to shopping, food and family fun & adventures. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the Destin area in the future.

This property was clean and the property manager was responsive. The pools were our favorite, as well as the huge TV. We had a great experience. That being said, I felt the price was too high considering the unit did not have beach access.

My family really enjoyed out getaway this past weekend! We were really happy with this unit and it worked perfectly for our family of 4. I appreciated how easy the booking was and the communications from Panhandle Getaways. I downloaded the app and had all the information I needed -- from check in / out instructions, door code, directions, etc. I really appreciated how seemless and easy that made the process. The unit itself was really nice and had everything we needed. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked and I knew right where to look for anything I needed. We loved having a grill outside on the back patio! The complex was nice and quiet, and the pools were nearby. We had too much fun at the beach so didn't venture to the pools, but I loved knowing that the option was there if needed. The location was great. It was easy to get to the beach and could be walked, though we chose to drive since we had 2 little ones and lots of toys. The public beach parking was easy (if you arrived early in the day), and I really liked being so close to the bath house...definitely a winner with the kids! Walking would have been easier if a cart was provided to help carry beach stuff. There were a few boogie boards in the unit, but not a huge selection of beach items to borrow. Since we drove down we didn't have a huge amount of room for chairs, tent/umbrella, etc so ended up renting them on the beach, which was really easy. In late September, it was $30/day and I believe was $40/day in the summer. There were 2 recommendations we had for the unit. The first would be a slight rearrangement of the living room furniture. As it is now, the sofa is against the same wall where the TV sits in the corner unit. So, it wasn't really easy/comfortable to sit on the sofa and watch TV. There were additional chairs, but just shifting the sofa to face the TV would make a world of difference. Secondly, many of the lights in the unit are flourescents and when turned on they start dim and then get brighter after a few minutes. This sometimes made it difficult to tell if you flipped the correct switch if you couldn't tell that the light was on, and once bright, flourescent lights can be harsh on the eyes. It took a little while for us to figure out the best combination of lighting to minimize the flourescents and make the lighting comfortable. Again, simple changes that could easily add some additional comfort levels.

We recently vacationed in this dog friendly condo through Panhandle Getaways and had a wonderful time. The condo was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had one minor issue that was handled quickly by the maintenance staff. We were able to enjoy riding our bikes to the beach everyday (not a long ride or walk). This is a great property and I would recommend to others.

My wife and I, my parents and my elderly, but enthusiastic, grandmother recently stayed at your Woodland Shores Property in Destin, Florida, and we could not have enjoyed our stay more. I would like to give credit to the staff at Panhandle Getaways for assisting us with location, registration and the communication was second to none. The property was pet friendly, which made my wife and her three yappy rat-dogs extremely happy and everything in Destin was accessable from our central location near the beach. That I cannot recommend Woodland Shores Properties or Panhandle Getaways strongly enough and you can rest assure the next time we plan an escape to the beach you can count on us to use you and your properties again. Until then take care and keep up the good work.
