Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

The condo is exactly as the pictures shown. The condo was clean, roomy and well maintained with a good size kitchen and living room. Master bedroom was lovely with a king size comfortable bed. There was a Jacuzzi tub in the master bath, large walk in shower, two sink/vanities and large walk in closet with plenty of space for additional clothing. The balcony was great with extra seating, table and lounge chair. You can see the ocean from the large sliding glass windows/doors from both the kitchen/living room and bedroom. The pool is well maintained with plenty of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi and exercise equipment (building) on the the property. This was our first time to the Florida Panhandle. The sand on the beach was the whitest and pristine we have ever seen (no garbage and well maintained). The water was clear with beautiful turquoise and blue colors. You can rent beach chairs/umbrellas or bring your own. From the condo you have a gorgeous view of the ocean and pool area. We were glad we rented a car as most restaurants are not close, although you can walk to the Back Porch restaurant. There are many other restaurants on the water and other choices inland. Highly recommend Moe's Original BBQ and Harbor Docks. There are also many seafood markets nearby. Be sure to read the property emails before you arrive as they provide check in specifics. You must pay $15 per guest for wrist bands for pool and beach access. You will get the bands from the front desk after registering your car details for parking on a link they provide. There are plenty of luggage carts available and the condo is located on the 1st floor so it is easy to access. The stairwell is directly across from the front door also near the garbage chute. There is plenty of outside parking. The staff (security and janitor) were very helpful and friendly and we felt safe at all times. The pool and ocean gates are only accessible by code provided (another safety feature). This was my first trip with Panhandle Getaways and I was very impressed! I had a question and called and spoke to a very knowledgeable representative who answered all my questions. I was able to book two activities with explorie on my phone. It was simple and easy. When I booked my VRBO, I had no idea this service was available. I will definitely be booking again. These perks were very much appreciated and fun! I was surprised and delighted to find out that our stay included some perks...we chose one free golf and the beautiful Emerald Bay Golf Course (there were many to choose from!) and one free ticket for the sunset dolphin tour. I did have to call on a Sunday (for additional log in information) and was impressed that representative was available and able to assist. Our unit's toilet was leaking and was also very impressed when I called Panhandle, the representative sent someone out to fix within 24 hours! Great Family Vacation Spot
I couldn't have asked for more. This unit was perfect for our family of 5 (3 Teens and 2 Adults). The condo is very clean and we loved being on the first floor. The elevator closest to this condo was not working so it worked perfect to use the stairs with only having to go up one flight. We had three kids under the age of 5 and they loved it. Kitchen is large with a good amount of counter space to cook on. We will definitely stay in this condo again. Great stay. Beautiful place.
We had 6 adults. 2 couples and 2 other friends. It worked well for us. The view was fantastic and I liked being on the lowest level. No wait for elevator. Master bedroom was beautiful. Great jacuzzi tub. Two sinks. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beach chairs are a good touch. Great location close to Back Porch restaurant which we recommend for seafood. Very difficult to get Uber in this area so must have rental car. We saved hundreds of dollars by renting from hertz a mile from the complex. We didn’t have kids with but very family friendly location with stuff to do right across the street ...water park, go carts etc. McGuire’s and AJ’s were great. Ajs has live music every night. First time to Destin
