Pet Friendly Note: While the main home is pet friendly, pets are NOT allowed in the Carriage House. 

 

PET FRIENDLY WITH STIPULATIONS
We welcome well-trained dogs to stay in this home. We require that your dog be completely potty trained and prefer dogs older than 2 years old. Crate Trained pups are preferred to deter mischievous behavior while you and your party are enjoying the beach. It is understood that while we do allow dogs with the mentioned stipulations any damages that occur during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file with the minimum fee being $350.00.  

 

About Prominence on 30A - Watersound, Florida
Prominence is one of the most popular communities on 30A and features incredible amenities, open green spaces and easy access to over 17 miles of bike paths. Prominence is perfectly located to new and long time 30A haunts as well as the beautiful white beaches of Scenic 30A. Guests will enjoy a beautiful town center and 2 resort style pools.

 

Located at the town center, the Big Chill is a hot-spot for entertainment and features an outdoor 25 ft LED theater screen for sporting events and movie nights on the green. Concerts, family activities, restaurants, and boutique shops are just some of the things to do within a less than 5 minute walk. 

 

Prominence is centrally located on 30A between Seagrove and Seaside to the west and Alys and Rosemary Beach to the east.

Beach Accesses for ALL Prominence homes are via South Walton public beach access points. Most Prominence guests utilize Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public beach accesses. Prominence homes do not have direct beach access via Watersound Club nor do they have access to Watersound private club facilities.

 

INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Location was great for our family. Golf cart and bikes made everything accessible including the beach and restaurants. Loved that we could handle everything digitally. Property was clean, well stocked and maintained. Only issue is that cell service and WiFi were sub par but wasn’t a big deal for us.

The stay was great for our family and friends. This was our first trip to the area, and we really enjoyed it. The house was beautiful with plenty of room and came stocked with bikes, beach chairs and water activities for the kids. The only issues we ran into (2) was the AC didn't keep up on the main floor which they had someone out the next day, and beach access is limited but with a little research and speaking to some locals we figured it out just fine. I would definitely stay here again.

The Turtle Dunes house was amazing, plenty of space for family to feel right at home, and in a great location with all the amenities close by. The golf cart made for quick trips back and forth to the beach without having to dirty up your personal vehicle. We would definitely love to stay at this same house again in the future!!

Perfect weekend getaway
House was well appointed, larger than expected, prime walking distance to the coffee and shops at the Big Chill. I’d recommend searching the beach rentals to figure out the best public access, just remember not all have public bathrooms. The cart was great. Would definitely choose again.
