Prominence is one of the most popular communities on 30A and features incredible amenities, open green spaces and easy access to over 17 miles of bike paths. Prominence is perfectly located to new and long time 30A haunts as well as the beautiful white beaches of Scenic 30A. Guests will enjoy a beautiful town center and 2 resort style pools.

Located at the town center, the Big Chill is a hot-spot for entertainment and features an outdoor 25 ft LED theater screen for sporting events and movie nights on the green. Concerts, family activities, restaurants, and boutique shops are just some of the things to do within a less than 5 minute walk.

Prominence is centrally located on 30A between Seagrove and Seaside to the west and Alys and Rosemary Beach to the east.

Beach Accesses for ALL Prominence homes are via South Walton public beach access points. Most Prominence guests utilize Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public beach accesses. Prominence homes do not have direct beach access via Watersound Club nor do they have access to Watersound private club facilities.

INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

This place is a Gem! All three floors has like 10’ ceilings which make it feel even bigger than the photos. It’s a short walk to the Big chill and right next door to the smaller pool. This makes it perfect for young families.
We were a party of 12 and felt extremely comfortable.

A family vacation is our Christmas gift to our grown children and grands. The Panhandle area was a popular choice. After searching several properties, Sand Dollar Manor checked the boxes, down to having a pool convenient to our stay, but not on the property (we have lots of littles!). The property has generous gathering spaces and the bedrooms were very ample, each with their own bath. The kitchen was well-equipped with useful appliances and plenty of dishes. The porch on the main level was a treat with plenty of seating and a gas grill for burgers! The LSVs were especially useful, transporting us to supper at The Big Chill (food court at the entrance of the neighborhood) and touring around. The Hub provided fun shops for tourists. Rosemary Beach, with boutique shops, was scenic with beautiful live oaks and beach access.
We appreciate the owners' attention to detail and Panhandle Getaways's responsiveness. Our children have rated this vacation as a favorite!

The house was beautiful! Great location and very clean. We all arrived a little early and the house was unoccupied, I asked if there was anyway we could get in a tad earlier than 4, the house did not allow early check in, the door code would not unlock until exactly 4pm. We just sat on the front porch and waited. It was a little frustrating. I would understand if the cleaning crew hadn’t finished but that was not the case. The house was unoccupied , we could have gotten in and started unpacking a little earlier. Also the pool would not unlock until exactly 8am. We just wanted to sit by the pool and drink coffee. One morning we wanted to use the pool deck to workout but couldn’t get in until 8. Easing up on the time constraints and rules would make the experience even better. None of the businesses in the area have public restrooms, not even for paying customers. The area is beautiful and everyone we encountered were so friendly!!
