PET FRIENDLY WITH STIPULATIONS***
We welcome well-trained non-shedding dogs to stay in this home. A daily pet fee will be charged after your reservation is made, should you decide to bring a furry friend (this includes emotional support animals). We require that your dog be completely potty trained and prefer dogs older than 2 years old. Crate-trained pups are preferred to deter mischievous behavior while you and your party are enjoying the beach. It is understood that while we do allow dogs with the mentioned stipulations, any damages that occur during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file with the minimum fee being $350.00. Please no cats for allergenic reasons.

NOTE: Use of the owners 6 Beach Chairs are included with your stay. However, should any item become lost or should a chair become unavailable due to loss, broken, does not function or if it is just not your style or similar there will be no refund as the use provided is at the courtesy of the owner.

Prominence is one of the most popular communities on 30A and features incredible amenities, open green spaces and easy access to over 17 miles of bike paths. Prominence is perfectly located to new and long time 30A haunts as well as the beautiful white beaches of Scenic 30A. Guests will enjoy a beautiful town center and 2 resort style pools.

Located at the town center, the Big Chill is a hot-spot for entertainment and features an outdoor 25 ft LED theater screen for sporting events and movie nights on the green. Beach Accesses for ALL Prominence homes are via South Walton public beach access points. Most Prominence guests utilize Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public beach accesses. Prominence homes do not have direct beach access via Watersound Club nor do they have access to Watersound private club facilities.

INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

This was our first time to the panhandle - we LOVED it! Everything was smooth upon arrival throughout the duration of our trip. This location is in Santa Rosa, my only feedback is if you want to use the golf cart to local “gems” you will either need to uber and/or drive to get to Seaside, Rosemary and/or Alys beaches. Overall, we had a great stay and highly recommend. Thank you!

Our stay was wonderful!
When we arrived I didn’t have enough cell service to pull the code to get into the property. I placed a quick phone call and someone answered right away. Upon entering the home was beautiful and just as described.
Being at the beach you expect sand to be on the floors but after being there for a few hours our feet were completely black on the bottom. I didn’t notify maintenance as this wasn’t a huge deal for us. We just wore our slides around.
The welcome book in the house listed a fitness facility located in the community. We drove around and couldn’t find it. I reached out to maintenance who was very responsive. I was told the information in the book was outdated and there hadn’t been a gym in the community in over a year.
This is a great location and The Chill was great in the evenings after the beach or pool. The golf cart was a huge plus and the beaches were gorgeous! Panhandle Getaways was super responsive and we would definitely stay here again!

Great location right next to the big chill. Very easy to go next door and grab a quick meal. We chose to go to Grayton state park for our beach days. It’s a quick drive and easy to walk onto the beach. There is security in the neighborhood waiting to write fines if kids aren’t in a car seat. Everyone must be in a seatbelt, their main job is to write tickets to be aware. I would come back again. Panhandle itself was great to deal with and very responsive.

Good overall stay

The property was nice, modern and clean. We had a great stay here. The only area of needed improvement is that it is pretty apparent the sofas and mattresses could use an update. Both were clean but you would sink to the bottom on the sofa just because the cushions are pretty worn down and similar with the mattress. But overall, very happy with the stay. Only other callout is that the neighborhood Prominence while nice does not have beach access so you have to either take a shuttle, drive golf cart, bike, etc about a mile to get to the current beach access. I think there is another one about a half mile away that was closed during our visit. That is the only thing that would have been good to know since so many other 30a neighborhoods do have their own beach access. But the unit itself was very nice and had all the items you would want in a condo.

The 30A hideaway is in a great location close to Rosemary Beach and across the street from the 30A HUB which is an awesome place to get food, watch sports, and have a few drinks with friends and family. The golf cart included is a great way to get around the area and the free perks, like golf, is also a nice added benefit.
