Property was very clean except for the bathrooms at the lazy river area. Overall it was a wonderful stay!!! The bathrooms at the lazy river area were not clean

Amazing stay. Pools were cleaned everyday. Henderson beach was my favorite beach, crystal clear!

Very nice apartment but it smelled like cigarettes, that's what I didn't like. but the place the perfect location the beach is close. The sea water was very dirty but that was not a problem for my family and I spent some spectacular days. I rent again thanks

The condo was very nice, clean and a perfect amount of space for what we needed. The owners are super nice and go out of their way to help. We were in town for a dance competition.

The view was beautiful, ours had 7 pools and a lazy river, we went in November, weather was a little cool but three pools on the bayside was heated. The bay side of the property was far more beautiful than the gulf side.

I stayed here a couple weeks after hurricane Michael. The management company was very courteous and professional. The condo was clean and comfortable. The pool is amazing, it has a lazy river and beach access is awesome. This is one of my favorite places to stay in the Destin area.

The complex was fantastic. The three bedroom was perfect for me, my spouse, our three little boys, and my elderly in-laws. The kids loved the lazy river and the pools, not to mention the easy walk to the beach. The beds could be a bit more comfortable but that is just being nitpicky.

Best lazy river !

Our first evening was disturbed with 3 fire alarms going off every hour! The condo was neat, but had food on silverware in drawer, bathroom drawers were "hairy", Jacuzzi tub spewed black stuff out, shower button in small bathroom tub didn't work all the time and toilet in small bathroom wasn't flushing properly. However, we did have a great time. Just a little more fine-tuning in housekeeping is needed.

Nice property with many different options for pools, hot tubs, etc. Lazy River was AWESOME! We would have liked to seen a little more attention to detail when it came to everyday items-i.e...more than just one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, no laundry detergent, no salt & pepper. Also there was not enough seating...needs another couch! Ice maker & water on the refrigerator did not work. It was updated & decorated nicely!

Please note in your Rental Agreement as well as in our Panhandle Getaways App, it states that we only offer a start-up amount of toiletries and sundries; you'll have to purchase additional items for the rest of your stay. My family loved our stay at Destin West! We booked through Panhandle Getaways & had fantastic customer service!!!! Our condo was without a working blender. We went & bought one only to be told had we called they would have gotten one for us! Sonya was willing to help in any way possible & gave us her number to reach her at any time! My kids loved the pools, lazy river, & ease of access. The beach was a short walk away. Fudpuckers is next door to the condo & The Boardwalk was easy to walk to for dinner! The condo itself was beautifully decorated & without the typical tacky beach theme paint/furniture. The tile floors were easy to keep sand free & the master tub was perfect for relaxing after a long day. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. There's a large table with chairs for us all to enjoy the bay & pool during the day & night. We definitely plan on returning!

This was my family's 2nd time at this resort, first time at this condo. First off, the resort is amazing! We love coming here because there is something for everyone, my kids love the lazy river while my wife and I enjoy the pool. This area is great if you want a gorgeous beach without overcrowding. Secondly, the condo was much nicer than the first one we stayed in, there was plenty of room for us and my wife loved the kitchen! Lastly, Panhandle Getaways was great to work with and I will definitely be booking with them from now on and recommending them to anyone looking for a great, affordable, hassle-free vacation.

We took a well deserved and badly needed vacation - friends had recommended Panhandle Getaways and the Destin West resort specifically. I'm a bit of a neat freak ...but it was pristine clean. Very nicely furnished and room for all 6 of us! The kids loved the lazy river (so did the adults). We had not ever rented a condo before but having all the comforts of home instead of a hotel room is what we will be doing more of with our big family! Thanks so much. Would love to return next year

We had a Blast! We had total of 16 people in two condo's. Three generations, ages ranged from 10 months to 72. There was something to do for everyone. The view from the balconys at night was breathtaking. The condo's were tastefully decorated, clean, spacious and had all the conveninces of home. We will be back!
