The Sandcastle is a 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom pet-friendly beach house in Panama City Beach that sleeps 18 guests across three stories, located exactly 145 steps from the Gulf beach access. It sits on a quiet, low-traffic street in PCB's West End, away from the busy strip, with a private hot tub, kids' splash pad, three-story playhouse with swing set, and Gulf sunset views from multiple balconies.
Guests consistently confirm the location in their own words: "Awesome location, walking distance to the beach!" and "Close to the beach with easy beach access." One family put it best: this home is ideal "if you don't mind being away from all the hustle and bustle of the busy strip."
Built for large and multigenerational groups. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom are located on the first floor, so grandparents, toddlers, and anyone avoiding stairs never has to climb to the second or third story. Hot water capacity is proven at scale; one group of 13 reported the "showers stayed warm" for their entire party. Dedicated off-street parking sits directly at the house: no parking garages, no shuttles, no daily parking fees.
Walk to everything on the West End. A neighborhood grocery/everything store is one block away (mentioned by guests more than any single amenity), and the beloved Thomas' Donut & Snack Shop is roughly one block from your door. Pier Park, local restaurants, and West End attractions are a short drive.
Inside, bright open living spaces center on a 65" Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, and a dining area that seats the whole group. Evenings end on the balconies ("the sunset views from the balconies were our favorite," as one December guest wrote) or in the bubbling hot tub under the stars.

PET POLICY
Well-behaved dogs are welcome (maximum 2, pre-approval required). Pets must be disclosed at the time of booking. A non-refundable pet fee applies. Any evidence of an undisclosed pet will result in eviction and cleaning fees of up to $500.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
A starter set of toiletries, paper products, and detergents is provided for your arrival. Guests should plan to purchase additional supplies for the remainder of their stay. Bed linens and bath towels are provided (one bath towel per guest at the listed occupancy). Large groups may want to bring extra bath towels, and please bring beach towels for outdoor use.

Gorgeous views
Our family of 5 including 3 teenagers stayed here during spring break and the house was perfect for us! The boys took the upstairs rooms, one is a king bed and the other room is bunks but there's a little nook with a tv and bean bag chairs that was perfect for them to play Xbox and didn't bother the rest of us! We used the hot tub a lot and had our coffee on the main floor balcony every morning, we could see the beach clearly from there! The third floor balcony is also great for sitting outside and tanning. The backyard was so cute too with a little play house that looks like the main house. There's not a lot of closet space but not a big deal since we only stayed 3 nights. The house was beautiful! Great beach view, plenty of room, we had 6 adults and four small children, three floors was perfect for us. grocery store was a very short walk, so much to do and lots of great restaurants near. Enjoyable, pleasant accommodations, ready assistance as needed. Acceptably clean and well appointed. We had all we needed except the splashpad did not turn on. A maintenance was offered, but we didn’t think it could be in time. Thomas’ Donuts everyday! Like one block. Carousel is a few more blocks but walkable. Incidentally, steaks there cannot be beat! We are taking some home for the freezer and a special occasion. The beach is easily walkable but we are too lazy. Golf cart would have been perfect. The unit is three stories, but there are two bedrooms and full bath on the first floor for yaya and poppy, so we did fine. Yes, we would choose Sandcastle again.Judith - Posted: 6/19/2025

Beautiful house
