INDIAN PASS
Nestled along Florida’s Forgotten Coast, Indian Pass is a peaceful, secluded coastal escape just 8 miles south of Port St. Joe. Known for its unspoiled beauty and old-Florida charm, this quiet peninsula is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico and Indian Lagoon, offering a truly unique environment where fresh and saltwater meet. Indian Pass is ideal for nature lovers, beachgoers, and anglers alike. The area features pet-friendly, uncrowded beaches where visitors can enjoy fishing, crabbing, grilling, horseback riding, and even beach bonfires. Outdoor enthusiasts can also take a short boat ride to nearby St. Vincent Island National Wildlife Refuge, a pristine, 12,300-acre island known for its hiking trails, wildlife viewing, and remote beaches. 

 

The area is also home to the iconic Indian Pass Raw Bar, a beloved local spot offering fresh oysters, seafood, live music, and a relaxed, honor-system atmosphere. Accommodations in Indian Pass range from charming cottages to beachfront homes and campgrounds, all offering a rustic, nature-immersed experience away from high-rise development. Just a short drive away, the town of Port St. Joe provides additional dining, shopping, and access to the historic Cape San Blas Lighthouse and T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. Whether you're looking to unplug, reconnect with nature, or enjoy some of the best fishing and seafood in the region, Indian Pass is the perfect destination.

 

PET FRIENDLY WITH STIPULATIONS
We welcome one well-trained dog under 50 pounds to stay in this home. We require that your dog be completely potty trained and prefer dogs older than 2 years old. Crate Trained pups are preferred to deter mischievous behavior while you and your party are enjoying the beach. It is understood that while we do allow dogs with the mentioned stipulations any damages that occur during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file with the minimum fee being $350.00.  

 

INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Great stay at Indian Pass. House was in a great location and was beautiful. Plenty of room for a family of 9, 6 adults and 3 children. House was well stocked with cookware as we cooked in all but one meal. Large kitchen table was perfect for family dining and game table. TV’s in all bedrooms which gave everyone some down time/nap time. Will definitely rebook.

5 Stars – A Perfect Family Getaway!
We had a fantastic weekend at Sand Castle Hideaway! The house was absolutely perfect for our family – spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights was the outdoor furniture, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location is quiet and secluded, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
We did have a minor issue with the elevator, but the maintenance team responded quickly and had it fixed in no time with a simple reset. Their fast and professional service really impressed us.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing trip!
My family and I absolutely loved this house! Beautiful views, great location. King size beds in all of the bedrooms. Sitting in the swing in the mornings drinking coffee watching the sunrise was heaven. We did not want to leave!
