Beach House - Hooked on the Cape

We had a great time at this home! The home is beautiful and just like the pictures. 5 minute walk to the beach down a private boardwalk just for neighborhood residents. Quiet location. Perfect if you want a peaceful getaway that’s walkable to the beach! We traveled with a 2 yr old and 7 yr old and they both enjoyed being here as well! There is some beach gear in the game room downstairs; wagon, chairs, etc. There is an elevator that can be used as well! Kitchen has pots/pans, utensils, dinnerware, etc. We utilized those as well as the grill. Went to Port St Joe for the groceries, seasonings, drinks, paper towels and plates. This is a great spot if you are looking for a small town, laid back beach trip!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here to celebrate the 4th of July. Easy access to the beach, as well as provided beach wagons & extra chairs were a huge plus for us. We would definitely come back!

Overall, the house was fantastic. Great location, clean, the game room was a plus. Beds super comfortable and bathroom water pressure and hot water super. Outside shower and partial fence which became fully fenced by placing gate across opening. A/C worked wonderfully.

We had a fantastic month‑long stay at Hooked on the Cape. The home was comfortable, clean, and truly felt like our own place while we were there. Panhandle Getaways was friendly, responsive, and easy to work with throughout our stay, which made the whole experience even better.
One thing to be aware of: there is a $25‑per‑hour fee for early check‑in, even if the house is unoccupied on your arrival day. Not a deal‑breaker at all, just something future guests may want to know ahead of time.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend staying at Hooked on the Cape.

We LOVED BH-Hooked on the Cape! House was super clean with plenty room for 4 adults and 2 dog children! Location was perfect....secluded but close to everything the area has to offer. The game room was great with ping-pong table and corn hole. Appreciated the starter supplies in kitchen and both bathrooms. Fenced in back yard was perfect for our 2 dogs. Would definitely recommend this rental home!!

We had a great time! It was so convenient to put my brother in law in the elevator with all the luggage instead of having to drag it up the stairs! The house was clean and we even got these cute little complimentary boxes in both bathrooms, with shampoo and conditioner and soap and face wipes. And also a box in the kitchen with laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dish soap and a couple other things. The game room was really fun. I had to beat my hubby at table tennis a couple times. And they also had a beach wagon, we filled the tires up cause they were a little flat for the next person, with lots of beach accessories. All the beds were slept in and everyone said they slept great. The mattresses were very comfortable. My dog went with us and he seemed very happy. Would love to go back soon!
