Beach House - Cottage at Indian Summer

We had a great stay! The house was very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with many essentials. Being so close to the beach was a huge plus, and the view from the third floor was beautiful. The layout worked well for our group. The main living area and kitchen are on the third floor, along with one king bedroom. The remaining three bedrooms and the laundry room are on the second floor. The first floor has a convenient storage area for beach supplies, including a beach wagon, a couple of chairs, cornhole boards, games, and other beach items. Having an elevator was also a fantastic feature and made moving luggage and groceries between floors much easier. Most of the beds were on the firmer side, though a few were softer. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The only issue we experienced was the water pressure, which seemed to be very low throughout the entire house. If I could offer a few suggestions, they would be: * Softer, more comfortable mattresses. * Mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the showers. * Liquid hand soap in each bathroom instead of bar soap. * A larger supply of bath towels, along with beach towels for guests who may be flying in. * A few more pots and pans in the kitchen. * Basic pantry staples such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, and aluminum foil. * More available cabinet space for guests’ groceries, as we had to rearrange items to fit all of our food. We did appreciate that the home provided starter supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, bar soap, and small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Those little touches were appreciated, and a few additional conveniences would make an already great stay even better. One final suggestion would be for the owner to consider offering the golf cart as an optional rental with the house. We rented one separately during our stay, and while I understand there may be insurance or liability considerations, having one available at the property would be an incredible convenience for guests. Overall, this is a wonderful property in an excellent location, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’d happily recommend it and would definitely consider staying here again.

The beach house was perfect for our family vacation. Panhandle Getaways was very responsive to our requests. The kitchen was well stocked; I just wished more of that had been included on the listing. The only problem we had was a bear getting into the trash cans! Probably need a more bear proof can.

Our stay was great. The rental house was beautiful and the views of the ocean were even better than the pictures. The house was very clean and had everything we needed stocked. It was nice to have an access code at arrival and made entry fast and easy. The Panhandle employers were quick to respond to our needs and went above andbeyond to return to us something we left at departure. 5 star review!

We had an issue with a different accommodation and had to find a new place quickly at 10pm! We found this gem, and they were super responsive— got us in within the hour, and it even had an elevator! New build so it’s super clean. What started as a nightmare ended up being paradise. Thanks for taking care of us!
