Every February, the annual and beloved Gumbo Cook-Off hits Mexico Beach. This year’s event will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025, opening at 10 a.m., and is a major fundraiser for Mexico Beach community events.

The Destin Fishing Rodeo began in 1948 to bring people together for the ultimate fishing experience in Destin. Every October for the entire month, the city brings anglers from across the nation to compete and win prizes in this annual fishing competition.

The 30A Songwriters Festival brings together the largest gathering of nationally recognized songwriters performing on the Florida coast. The Festival is held in January during Martin Luther King Jr. weekend every year, and in 2025, it will hold its 15th Annual event from January 16th through 20th.
