Please be sure to read the pet policy for your rental unit and in your Rental Agreement carefully. Based on the unit, there could be weight and size limits or other house rules for you to follow. Please clean up after your dog both inside and outside the rental.
Can I Take My Dog to the Beach?
While dogs are not allowed on the beaches in Walton or Okaloosa County, there is a dog friendly section of beach in Panama City Beach. Dog Beach is located on the west side of the Russell-Fields City Pier in front of Pier Park. The park is located on Front Beach Road at beach entrance 57 and is a popular spot for pups of all shapes and sizes.

If your pup needs to run off some energy, you can visit the South Walton Dog Park at 342 JD Miller Road in Santa Rosa Beach/30A. In Destin, visit the Nancy Weidenhamer Dog Park located at 4100 Indian Bayou Trail. Or bring them on a leash up and down all of the trails 30A is known for.
Do Restaurants at the Beach Allow Dogs to Come Along?
Almost all restaurants on 30A allow pets to come along for outside dining, and Panama City Beach and Destin have their own bounty of pet friendly restaurants, too, while dining outside. You'll see pets in all the popular locales and outdoor shopping areas, so generally the beach is very pet friendly.
