Here is a list of 30A beach access locations from east to west:

Walton County’s beaches along Scenic Highway 30A offer many public beach accesses. South Walton Fire District lifeguards are stationed at 14 locations. These locations offer adequate parking, restroom facilities and some offer handicap access with wheelchairs available.

Lifeguards are on duty from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., seven days a week from March 1 to Sept. 30.

Seacrest Drive Access is on Scenic 30A at the intersection of Seacrest Drive, about 1/2 mile east of Camp Creek Lake.

Sea Breeze Access

Sea Breeze Access in Seacrest, Florida is on Scenic 30A at the intersection of Seabreeze Trail, about 1/2 mile east of Camp Creek Lake.

Gulf Lakes Access

Gulf Lakes Access is on Scenic 30A about 1/4 mile east of Camp Creek Lake and about 100 yards east of Pelican Circle. There is a bike rack and shower but no car parking.

Deer Lake State Park

357 Main Park Rd Santa Rosa Beach, FL 37064. 1,920-acre park. Main beach access for Prominence on 30A.

Walton Dunes Access

Walton Dunes Access is about 1/2 mile south of Scenic 30A on Beachfront Trail on the east side of Eastern Lake. There is some roadside parking and no other amenities.

Sugar Dunes Access

Sugar Dunes Access is about 1/2 mile south of Scenic 30A at the end of Beachside Drive on the east side of Eastern Lake. There is a shower and a short boardwalk over the dunes to the beach.

Ramsgate Access

Ramsgate beach access is a simple walkover near the end of Eastern Lake Road behind Summer's Edge neighborhood beside Ramsgate townhomes.

Walton Dunes Access

Walton Dunes Access is about 1/2 mile south of Scenic 30A on Beachfront Trail on the east side of Eastern Lake. There is some roadside parking and no other amenities.

Sugar Dunes Access

Sugar Dunes Access is about 1/2 mile south of Scenic 30A at the end of Beachside Drive on the east side of Eastern Lake. There is a shower and a short boardwalk over the dunes to the beach.

One Seagrove Place Access

One Seagrove Place Access is on Seagrove Place about 100 yards south of Scenic 30A across from Robert Ellis Street and has a shower and no parking. The access is across Scenic 30A from Cassine Gardens subdivision and next to One Seagrove Place Condominiums, one of only two high rises on Scenic 30A.

Beachwood Villas Access

Beachwood Villas Access is on Scenic 30A across from Beachwood Villas, Somerset Bridge Road, and the Tom Thumb in Seagrove Beach, Florida. There is a bike rack but no car parking, and the access has a shower.

Campbell Street Access

Campbell Street Access is on Scenic 30A across from Campbell Street and the Seagrove Plaza.


Pelayo Access

Pelayo Avenue Beach Access is on Scenic 30A at the intersection of Pelayo Avenue across from Hidden Beach Villas, about 1/2 mile east of the Scenic 30A and Scenic 395 intersection.

There is a shower and a bike rack but no car parking.

Montigo Avenue Access

Montigo Avenue Beach Access is on Scenic 30A at Montigo Avenue and is but a trail through coastal dune scrub leading to the top of a dune overlooking the gulf.

San Juan Access

San Juan Neighborhood Access has about 15 parking spaces and a shower but no restroom. It is located just south of Scenic 30A at the end of San Juan Street in the heart of Seagrove Beach, about 1 /2 mile east of the Scenic 395 and Scenic 30A intersection.

Dothan Avenue Access

The Dothan Avenue Access is about 100 yards south of Scenic 30A and about 1/2 mile east of the Scenic 395 and Scenic 30A intersection. There is no shower, bike rack, or parking.

Andalusia Access

Andalusia Access is 100 yards south of Scenic 30A at Andalusia Avenue and is the closest access to the popular Grove By The Sea neighborhood.

The access has a shower and bike parking and the dune walkover has a special shady pergola with benches, sitting on a high bluff overlooking the gulf. There is no car parking.

Greenwood Access

Greenwood Beach Access is one block south of Scenic 30A on Montgomery Street in Seagrove Beach about 1/4 mile east of the Scenic 395 intersection. It is directly south of Greenwood subdivision which lies on the north side of Scenic 30A.

Headland Avenue Access

Headland Avenue Beach Access is an undeveloped access at Headland Avenue and Montgomery Street on the east side of where the Seagrove Villas Motel once stood.

Gardenia Access

Gardenia Beach Access is on Scenic 30A at Gardenia Street about 200 yards east of the Scenic 395 intersection. It is on the west side of Seagrove Villas Motel.

Azalea/Camellia Access

Azalea/Camellia Beach Access is on Scenic 30A about 200 yards east of the Scenic 395 intersection between Azalea and Camellia Streets.

Holly Access

Holly Beach Access is on Scenic 30A at Holly Street, one block east of the Scenic 395 intersection.

Scenic 395 Access

Scenic 395 Beach Access is at the intersection of Scenic 30A and Scenic 395, across from Seagrove market Cafe.

Nightcap Street Access

Nightcap Street Neighborhood Beach Access in Seagrove Beach, Florida is at the end of Nightcap Street, one block west of Scenic 395. It is one of several small accesses on Seagrove Beach with no parking and no restrooms.

Live Oak Access

Live Oak Access is just a few blocks east of Seaside on Scenic 30A at Live Oak Street, 2 blocks west of the Scenic 395 intersection.

Hickory Access

Hickory Beach Access is on Scenic 30A at Hickory Street, 3 blocks west of the Scenic 395 intersection and a few blocks east of Seaside..

Dogwood/Thyme Access

Dogwood/Thyme Beach Access is on Scenic 30A between Dogwood and Thyme Streets, 4 blocks west of the Scenic 395 intersection and 2 blocks east of Seaside.


Blue Lake Road Access

Blue Lake Road Beach Access is near the end of Blue Mountain Road where it meets Blue Lake Road, sandwiched in between Big redfish Lake and the gulf. There is no parking.

Spooky Lane Access

Spooky Lane Neighborhood Beach Access is at the entrance to Seahaunts Condominiums where Spooky Lane meets the gulf. From the intersection of Scenic 393 at Gulf Place and Scenic 30A, travel east about 1/4 mile then south on Spooky Lane. There is parking for bikes only..

Shellseekers Access

Shellseekers Beach Access is a simple walkover at the end of Shellseekers Cove about one block south of Scenic 30A and a few blocks east of the Scenic 393 intersection at Gulf Place.





Public Beach Rules



  • Leave No Trace– all items left on the beach overnight will be discarded to help maintain our pristine beaches and provide a safe environment for our South Walton Sea Turtles.
  • Vehicles require a permit to drive onto the beach, and are only allowed to drive on the beach at Grayton Beach. Permits can be applied for through the Walton County Board of County Commissioners lottery system.
  • Dog Permits are required for dogs on the beach, and are only available to residents of Walton County and/or property owners in Walton County. Those permits can also be purchased through the BCC. Permits are issued year round and expire on August 1st of each year.
  • Glass containers are prohibited on the beach.
  • Stay off the dunes.
  • Removal of sand, water and vegetation is strictly prohibited.
  • Two 15’ corridors are reserved for emergency vehicles; one extending 15’ from the dune toward the water, and the other extending 15’ from the water’s edge upland.
  • Amplified sound (audio device, speakers, radio, musical instrument, etc.) which can be heard by a person using normal hearing faculties at a distance of 100 feet from the source of the sound is not permitted.
  • Tents must be 10’ x 10’ or smaller and are to be set up only on the top 1/3 of the available beach space, still allowing for a 15’ distance from the dunes for emergency vehicles.
  • Charcoal grills are not allowed on the beach, all grilling must be done on Propane grills measuring at 225 square inches (approximately 12”x18” rectangular or 16” in diameter for circular grills) or smaller.
  • Bonfire permits can be applied for through the South Walton Fire District, Monday through Friday from 8 until 4. All bonfires must be put out and cleaned up by 1 AM and remnants must not be placed in the TDC trash containers.
