Destin Beach House - Gulf Star

The house was surprisingly huge. The customer service was excellent. They always respond to any questions we had. Overall, a great experience. Will definitely book from them again.

The property was perfectly located across the street from a private neighborhood beach…an easy walk even carrying our beach chairs.We loved the layout of the house. The two separate living areas allowed the older and younger family to retire early and not be kept awake by the poker game in the main living area. We really enjoyed the house, found everything we needed, and would definitely consider coming back.

We did a 12 person couples trip and had a late arrival after midnight. Upon arrival to the house we hadn’t been sent the access codes but I chatted the owners and they responded immediately! After gaining access everything was exactly like described and pictured. Ample space and the bedrooms were beyond cozy and efficient! There were 2 entries because there is a guest house under the main house attached to the garage. Everything worked out perfectly!

Definitely a great place to stay if you're looking for something close to the beach in the Destin area. The rooms were spacious and exactly as described. It wasn't made super clear that the 2 downstairs rooms that have a separate living room and kitchen are the entry way to the flex room and sre completely separated from the rest of the house. The entrance is on the front and has it's own code. This actually worked out wonderfully for us and doesn't change my rating at all. Overall, highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in walking distance to the beach, close to, but not in the busy center of Destin.

The house was clean when we arrived. About a 3 min walk to the beach entrance. Only inconvenience would be for a house as big as it is, it’s obvious there will be big parties reserving. The lack of kitchen utensils was inconvenient. Definitely needed more pots and pans. Aside from that we enjoyed the house. Also wished the bottom Level attached to the main house from the inside. Having to walk outside in the dark to get to the rest of the party was annoying.
